Vergeo5 (vergeo5.com) is a mobile-first marketplace connecting buyers and vendors across Zambia. By using our customer app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Marketplace role
Vergeo5 is a discovery and commerce platform. Vendors list their own products, services, events, and supplies. We facilitate payments and escrow but are not the seller unless explicitly stated.
Escrow & payments
Customer payments are collected through Lenco and held in a Lenco-managed escrow account until delivery is confirmed or the dispute window closes. Vergeo5 maintains a platform ledger of record for releases and payouts — we do not pool customer funds in our own bank account. Mobile money (MTN, Airtel, Zamtel) and card payments are supported where available.
Pricing & currency
All prices are shown in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW). The amount charged at checkout is the total you authorise, including item price, delivery fees, and applicable charges shown before payment.
Orders & delivery
When you place an order, you enter a contract with the vendor. Delivery options (Lusaka dispatch, nationwide pickup, or courier freight) depend on the listing. Track your order status in your account. Cash on delivery may be offered for eligible orders up to K500.
Tax posture
Vergeo5 launches under Turnover Tax (5%, below the K5M threshold) with ZRA-ready sequential invoicing from day one. VAT is off at launch; invoices and receipts are architected for future Smart Invoice VSDC activation when VAT registration applies.
Prohibited use
You may not use Vergeo5 for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, or to list prohibited categories (see our Vendor Agreement). We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Zambian law, Vergeo5 is not liable for indirect losses. Our role is limited to platform services described here. Disputes between buyers and vendors are handled through our returns and dispute process.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
