Vendor agreement

By registering as a vendor on Vergeo5, you agree to this Vendor Agreement alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This document covers commissions, payouts, and what you may list.

Vergeo5 charges a category-based commission on successful sales. Rates are shown before you publish a listing. Free events are charged 0% commission. Authoritative rates live in the platform config table and may be updated quarterly.

Funds are released from escrow when the customer confirms delivery or after 48 hours auto-confirm following delivered status (7-day fallback after shipping). Payouts are sent via Lenco API: mobile money typically within 5 minutes; bank transfers within 24–36 hours. Marketing promise: paid out in minutes on mobile money — always within 48 hours.

Listings must be accurate, priced in ZMW, and include clear photos (up to 8 per listing). You are responsible for fulfilment, delivery updates, and customer communication. Misleading listings may be removed.

You must honour Lane 1 returns (faulty/wrong/not-as-described). Lane 2 change-of-mind returns are optional — enable per listing with your chosen window (48 hours to 7 days). Restocking fees follow platform config (default 10%, range 5–15%).

You may not list: second-hand clothing (salaula), used phones, fresh produce, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, live animals, or heavy building materials (cement, sand, heavy aggregates). Launch categories are limited to approved departments — see platform category tree.

Vendors must complete identity verification before payouts. We may request TPIN and business documents for tax invoicing. ZRA-ready invoices are generated for qualifying transactions.

We may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for policy breaches, fraud, or repeated customer complaints. Outstanding escrow obligations survive termination.

Commission rates and policies may change with notice on this page. Continued selling after changes constitutes acceptance.
